Mr. Rothrock has received a M.F.A. in Sound Design from the Savannah College of Art and Design in 2013 and a B.S. of Music from the University of Colorado @ Denver in 1999. He has worked in the live sound industry, touring with several productions as front of house mixer and has designed over 45 Theatrical stage shows in the past 10 years. Mr. Rothrock has been a production mixer and post production editor and mixer on several short films, feature films and animations working on projects for "ESPN 30 for 30", Galloping Metal Productions and Beach Riot Productions and Douglas County TV. Mr Rothrock has also edited and mixed more than 20 audio dramas for the Colonial Radio Theatre in the past 5 years" Mr. Rothrock is a member of the Cinema Audio Society
Mr. Rothrock has recently added adjunct professor to his resume as he has started t teach at the Institute of Art in Colorado. He has taught classes in production sound, post production sound, and recording amongst other topics.
Mr. Rothrock was born and raised in Golden Colorado and has lived in California, New York, Hawaii, Ohio, Nevada, South Carolina. Mr. Rothrock has been an aircraft mechanic and for the past 12 years has been in the live sound industry. He has toured the with Disney on Ice and other productions around the U.S., Japan, Thailand and many other places.
Mr. Rothrock's passion for audio theatre and sports continue today. Artists such as Nam Jun Paik and Stan Brakhage have inspired Mr. Rothrock. He looks forward to traveling to Iceland, Mongolia and Ireland.
